Why waxing is a must

Say goodbye to ingrown hairs and razor bumps! Our body waxing services leave your skin incredibly smooth. Since the hair is removed from the root, you get 3-4 weeks of smooth skin, as opposed to 2-3 days when shaving.

Get the most out of your wax

After your wax, avoid heat, sauna, tanning beds and sun exposure for at least 48 hours. Avoid working out, swimming pools or other activities that invite moisture and bacteria for 24-48 hours.

When is the right time to get a wax?

Always ensure you have at least 1/4 inch of hair or more (length of a grain of rice). Exfoliating 1-2 days prior, and avoiding alcohol or caffeine will help!

FAQs

Most people wait 3-4 weeks between body waxing treatments to make sure they have 1/4th of an inch of regrowth. Remember to avoid shaving in between.

Most people will admit waxing isn’t painless, but as your hair becomes more fine with regular waxing, the pain lesses significantly. The “pain” factor is really associated with thicker, deep-rooted hairs, which are more prevalent with regular shaving.

Do not used a scrub, Retinol OTC, Retin-A, Microderm, glycolic peels, other peels, exfoliate or tan for 24 hours before your appointment. We cannot wax sunburned skin.

Those who have been on Accutane in the last 12 months are not cleared for waxing, as the skin is highly sensitive and may be injured even with the most gentle wax.

Additionally, we cannot perform any waxing services on areas with open lesions or active herpes outbreaks.
