From Rana Hamadani, Founder of Sage & Vine Aesthetics
At this point, you’re used to us adding something new. But this time, it’s different. Grab some tea, it’s story time..
I started Sage & Vine when I was 37 years old. I slept like a baby. I had the energy to work a full-time job, start a home-based business, attend esthetics school at night, and raise a child.
I was fueled (albeit by energy drinks), focused, and unstoppable.
Fast forward five years to 2025, and something shifted.
On paper, life had actually gotten easier.
My business was staffed with extremely capable managers.
My daughter was essentially self-sufficient.
My workload was reasonable.
And yet…
I struggled to get out of bed.
I felt drained halfway through the day.
I could not sleep through the night – waking up at 2 or 3 AM almost nightly for no clear reason and staring at the ceiling, unable to fall back asleep.
It didn’t make sense.
I started confiding in trusted clients – women in their 40s and 50s who I respect deeply. Time after time, they gently told me the same thing:
“These are signs of perimenopause.”
I decided to seek out a professional and get my hormones tested. Sure enough, my testosterone levels were nearly nonexistent. My estrogen levels were depleted.
Within weeks of starting Hormone Replacement Therapy, I began to feel like myself again.
My energy stabilized.
My mood improved.
My sleep regulated.
My clarity returned.
And in that process, I realized something important.
If Sage & Vine is intentionally designed to care for women in their mid-30s and beyond – if we are committed to helping women feel confident, vibrant, and powerful in their own skin – then we cannot skip over hormones.
Hormones are foundational.
One of our core values is to be experts at what we do, so I didn’t rush this. I took my time. I researched. I interviewed providers. I waited until I found the right partner.
And now, we are beyond excited to officially announce that Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) is now available at Sage & Vine – in partnership with Amanda Curtis, FNP-BC, a true expert in HRT and women’s wellness.
This isn’t just another service. This is us stepping fully into whole-woman care, from the inside out. If you’re still reading this and you can relate to not feeling yourself lately, please keep reading.
Why Hormones Matter More Than We Talk About
Hormones are the foundation.
As women move through perimenopause, menopause, or even high-stress seasons of life, estrogen, progesterone, and sometimes testosterone begin to decline, and the symptoms don’t just show up as hot flashes.
They show up as:
- Low energy that sleep doesn’t fix
- Brain fog that makes you feel unlike yourself
- Mood shifts or anxiety
- Weight changes that feel impossible to control
- Poor sleep
- Low libido
- Skin thinning or accelerated aging
Hormones regulate nearly every system in your body. When they shift, everything feels it.
And no amount of Botox, skincare, or self-care can override a foundation that needs support.
Why This Is Such a Big Deal for Our Community
We are intentional about everything we bring into Sage & Vine, and comprehensive care has always been our philosophy.
When hormones are optimized, women often experience:
• More stable energy
• Better sleep
• Clearer thinking
• Improved mood
• Healthier skin
• Improved body composition
• Stronger bones
• A renewed sense of vitality
But here’s what makes this even more important.
For years, hormone therapy carried stigma and fear due to early studies that have since been heavily reevaluated and widely challenged. More recent research has clarified that much of the initial concern was overstated, misunderstood, or lacking nuance.
What we now understand is this:
Hormone therapy is not inherently dangerous.
It is individualized medicine.
And when properly prescribed and monitored, it can be life-changing.
What’s more concerning is that hormone health in women has historically been under-researched and under-prioritized. Many providers receive minimal formal training in menopause and perimenopause management, which leaves women being told, “This is just part of aging,” instead of being offered solutions.
Meanwhile, hormone optimization for men has been widely accepted and normalized for years.
Women deserve the same level of attention, innovation, and care.
The tide is finally shifting – but it requires providers who are committed to education, nuance, and responsible prescribing.
That’s why we were selective. That’s why we partnered with an expert.
This decision was about giving women access to informed, modern, medically sound care that should have been available all along.
And our community deserves nothing less.
Meet Amanda Curtis, FNP-BC
We are partnering with Amanda Curtis, board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and founder of Aura Wellness & Aesthetics.
Amanda’s approach is medically grounded, highly personalized, and centered around education. She takes the time to listen, assess thoroughly, and build customized treatment plans – not cookie-cutter protocols.
She will be seeing patients virtually at Sage & Vine on Mondays, which means appointment availability will be intentionally limited.
If You’ve Been Feeling “Off”…
If you’ve caught yourself saying:
“I’m always tired.”
“I guess this is part of getting older.”
“I just don’t sleep well anymore.”
“My libido is just low now.”
Maybe it is. But maybe it’s hormonal.
And the beautiful thing about living in 2026?
We don’t have to normalize exhaustion anymore.
We don’t have to normalize brain fog.
We don’t have to normalize low libido.
And if you already trust us with your lashes, your skin, your injectables, and your weight management…This is simply the next evolution of your care.
Ready to Learn More?
Appointments are limited and expected to fill quickly due to Amanda’s schedule.
You can book your Initial Hormonal Consultation online or contact our team directly to get scheduled. Amanda is currently available on Mondays, and if that timing isn’t ideal, let us know – we’ll always do our best to accommodate when possible.
Your journey will begin with comprehensive lab work to get a full picture of your hormonal health. If you have health insurance, lab work is often covered. Certain medications may also be eligible for insurance coverage, while others may be cash-pay.
Every woman’s needs and every HRT plan will look different. This is personalized medicine, not a one-size-fits-all approach. Amanda will walk you through your results, your options, and your treatment plan with clarity and care.
We are so proud to continue expanding what women’s wellness looks like at Sage & Vine.
